About Us![]() Help your fellow veterans by supporting Beethoven's Rescue, Inc. a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue organization located in Commerce City, Colorado, established in 2010. We welcome you to visit our photo gallery which provides pictures of some of our veterans and their dogs.
My name is Avis Yi, Director of Beethoven's Rescue, Inc. I am familiar with the issues veterans face on a daily basis, such as PTSD, Depression, Traumatic Brain Injuries, etc. My service dog was donated by the Brighton, Colorado Fire Department. Wiggles has not only been my service dog, but also my dear companion who has provided me with a sense of safety, independence and confidence that was lacking before she came into my life. I want to provide other veterans with this same service. Veterans understand other veteran struggles, and issues, that is how the idea of veterans helping veterans developed into Beethoven's Rescue, Inc. Mission Statement Beethoven's Rescue, Inc. mission is to train and provide service dogs of the highest quality at no cost to disabled American veterans and others with disabilities such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), etc. in order to help restore their physical and emotional independence. |
Donations
Dogs are donated to our organization from various shelters, rescues or caring people who want to help, specifically to be trained to become service, companion and/or therapy dogs. Dogs that pass the certification will then be placed with a veteran in need of such a companion. Dogs that do not pass the certification process are put up for adoption.
Beethoven's Rescue is a non-profit organization and we rely on donations in order to continue providing services to veterans. Please make a tax-deductible donation today! Every penny counts and helps provide veterans in need with service and/or companion dogs as well as training.
Beethoven's Rescue is looking for foster homes, if you would like to foster a dog please send an email to beethovensrescue@yahoo.com.
